Hello everyone, I don't normally write journals about my personal health battles but.... I am sure some might think that my inactivity here has been due to my having either left DA or lost interest. Neither is true. My health has continued to worsen over the last year although I have started approximately 4-5 manips without being able to finish any due to my bad health. I was down to barely accomplishing anything DA related. I love creating my manips so much and want to thank each and every one of you who have encouraged and supported me and my artwork. It means more to me than you could possibly know.  Toward the end of July I was taken by ambulance to the hospital and woke up a week later in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). I was diagnosed with with congestive heart failure, COPD, a bad lung infection and (Diabetes ll which I already knew that I had) I have lived with an extremely painful and debilitating neurological disease for the last 14 years and all of the above got heaped on top of that. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital and the balance of August in a rehab center trying to regain my strength so that I could come home and function as I live alone with no one else here to help me at home. Be assured that I am NO whiner or weakling or do I want any ones sympathy I am a person who takes what ever I am dealt and I make the best of it and refuse to give in to it. I am hard headed tenacious and determined to not let anything get the best of me  and if it does you can bet I will go down fighting. I came home on Monday 08/28/17 and for the next six weeks I have physical therapist's, nurses. and other assorted medical people coming to my home three, or four times a week. I am on oxygen 24 hours a day and that has really been hard to adjust to but the alternative is not being able to breath so again.....something to learn to live with. If I ever completely disappear and do not return at all then this will give you an idea as to why but as of now I intend to deal with this as I always do with a positive and determined outlook......after all I have lots of art I still want to create and I am going to do everything I can to make sure that I am able to do so. Hope all of you are well and happy and after I get settled back in here at home I will be looking at all the beautiful art that I have missed seeing and will be faving/ commenting and trying to catch up although I might be a little slow at it for a while.
